Insight School of Wisconsin: Celebrating Our January Students of the Month

We are proud to recognize two exceptional students, Mariamou Juma and Dau’Joun Steel, as Insight School of Wisconsin’s Students of the Month for January! Chosen by our school’s administration and staff, Mariamou and Dau’Joun were recognized for their dedication to learning, positive attitudes, and impressive academic achievements. Their hard work and perseverance make them truly deserving of this honor!
Mrs. Thompson, Marimou’s High School Engagement Mentor, shared this about Marimou’s nomination:
Mariamou joined ISWI in early November and quickly demonstrated her dedication to her education. She set high goals for herself during first semester and worked consistently in her credit recovery courses, successfully completing a significant number of credits. She has been working hard this semester and has been able to maintain excellent grades in her live courses. Mariamou is not afraid to ask for help when needed and advocates for herself with confidence. Mariamou is kind and respectful and I have enjoyed getting to know her and our conversations during check ins.
Mrs. Smith, Dae’Joun’s High School Engagement Mentor, shared this about Dae’Joun’s nomination:
Dae’Joun started with ISWI as a senior for the 24/25 school year. Since joining, he has been very proactive regarding his education and schooling. He’s great at asking questions and seeking help when needed. He always brings a great attitude and is fun to talk with during our meetings, creating a positive and engaging atmosphere.
We are thrilled that Mariamou and Dau’Joun are part of our school community. Their hard work and commitment to their education serve as an inspiration to their peers, and we are excited to see all they will accomplish. Congratulations again to our January Students of the Month! Keep striving for excellence!
